Day 54---I know...You couldn't wait until I pulled out the Old Navy flip flops...It had to be done at some point!! I just wish it wasn't 30 degrees outside. My little piggies froze out there today! But it did force me to get a pedicure since you would be forced to see me crazy toes. I've been self-conscious about them since Jeff Lillie made fun of them in the 7th grade! It's funny the things we hold onto into adulthood. I own about 6 pairs of these sandals so be prepared to see them again. Most of them are either black or Navy blue since they go with most outfits. I may have a pair of pink ones hiding somewhere. My friend Vanessa can probably brag about over 20 pairs of flip flops that range in color and go with every outfit. I just want to point out, I'm not the only one with a problem here...
I had a great weekend spent with family both near and far. Driving home late last night after playing board games with my family I was thinking how fortunate I am to have a family that genuinely likes each other. The ability to laugh with each other, support one another and sincerely care for each other's well being is a blessing. Not everyone has that. They say you can pick your friends but family you're stuck with. I'm pretty lucky with the family I have.
