I was remembering back to when John and I first got married and a conversation we had. I don't know how we got onto the subject, but he was talking about how he would like to see me dressed. His description sounded like an Eddie Bauer ad. He liked plain clothes like khaki pants and plain shirts. He also saw me staying home and homeschooling our "6" imaginary kids, but that's another story! Nothing flashy or noticeable was his ideal look. At the time I was wondering if he knew me at all! Don't get me wrong. I tried to indulge his fantasy for a while, but who was I kidding? I LOVE clothes! All type of clothes...But after 17 years he puts up with me dressing a little crazier than he's comfortable with, coming home with more shoes and I think he's ok with it. I think he's even grown to like it.
